Nevada county softball is an integrated staple of this beautiful sierra community. Softball is truly one of our county’s favorite pastimes, encompassing the Gold Country Senior Softball Association, the Western Nevada County Recreation Slo-pitch and Fast pitch softball league’s, and all of the various high school and children’s little leagues as well.
There is huge participation in the local community for sponsorship by many businesses in the foothills of Nevada City, Grass Valley and Penn Valley.
Teams participate at many fields in the community. Litton field, Condon Park, Memorial Park and Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley are all parts of the beautiful recreational fields where our local softball players and fans get together in community spirit!
The 2009 season is about to begin, with softball sign-ups and registrations.
